Dr. Lauren E. Long (Dr. Lauren) grew up in Jasper, Indiana. She attended Butler University and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Following her time as a Butler Bulldog, she studied at Indiana University School of Dentistry where she completed her doctorate degree in 2016. After working as a general dentist in Indianapolis for two years, Dr. Lauren grew to love pediatric dentistry, and pursued her residency training at Riley Hospital for Children. She served as Chief Resident during her final year and received the Delta Dental Award for Innovation in Oral Care Research as well as the G.R. Baker Fellowship Award.
Dr. Lauren is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), Indiana Dental Association (IDA), and Indiana Society of Pediatric Dentistry (ISPD). She and her husband Jake also served as co-chairs of the New Dentist Committee for the Indianapolis District Dental Society. She is CPR and PALS certified and is always seeking new ways to improve her clinical skills.
Dr. Lauren has always loved working with children in any setting, but particularly enjoys creating a fun and educational experience for kids at the dentist. She prides herself in getting to know each of her patients, listening to their goals, and working together to achieve them.
Dr. Lauren and Dr. Jake have two children, James and Maren. Being a mom to two young children has only deepened her desire to serve her patients well. Dr. Lauren is happy to be back in her hometown and being a part of the Seng Pediatric Dentistry family!
In her free time, Dr. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new restaurants, and volunteering with Young Life and other community organizations. She is eager to provide compassionate care to each patient she encounters!
